Hey all, Weasel here with your “What To Expect” for the week of May 31, 2009!
It’s finally here, the week of E3, the Electronic Entertainment Exposition, live in Los Angeles, California! I’ve got the entire week off, so I’ll be here with you live, blogging about the latest and greatest news, information and announcements that come out of the United States’ largest video game convention of the year! Expect a lot of updates as there is a lot of information to cover. Now, I might just want to mention that we are not the first place that you’ll hear about this news from, unless you shut yourself off from every other video game website in the entire world (which we would like to recommend!), but here’s why you should keep your eyes open to the Weasel Report over the next week!
While we are not ACTUALLY at E3, we’re keeping our eyes open for as much information as we can find, and bringing it together in an easy to read format. Not only that, but we’re also offering our own opinions on top of what you’re hearing from others! We understand that a lot of you are just looking for the scoop, but you can get that anywhere else. The Weasel Report will provide you with in-depth discussion on each story, as well as an area in which you, the reader, can also chime in! Every entry comes with an area for your comments, and all you have to do is be registered on the website. Also, the author will continue to browse those comments, so keep watching them, as a discussion could start at any time!
On top of all of that, the Gaming Report, our exclusive video game audio report, SHOULD release a brand new episode daily, although chances are in a much abridged format, until our final episode releasing at the end of the week, where we’re going to try to invite everyone who was in our special fifth episode back again for one more catch-up from the entire show! Watch for those towards the very end of very beginning of the days instead of our usual Tuesday release schedule.
And, who knows, we’re also planning on coming up with a NEW LIVE video show, during E3, where we’ll share our opinions on what we’re seeing, as well as take your Skype calls LIVE, and even hopefully have some guests over on the couch! That means that if you live in Minnesota, and want to stop by the Weasel Productions Studios to talk games, e-mail me at weasel [at] weaselreport.com, and I’ll get back to you ASAP.
But wait, there’s more! We’re also possibly looking for some guest writers! Are you good at writing? Do you love video games? Have you always wanted to write about them? If you’re interested, contact me at the same address above, and we’ll test out your writing skills! Who knows, you may be able to get your own column here on the Weasel Report for everyone to read! There’s a lot of information that will be flying around, so you never know what stories might slip through my fingers at the last second that someone else will pick up on and cover.
Finally… do you like free stuff? If you’ve answered “no” to this question, then I recommend that you check your pulse and see a doctor immediately. If you answered “yes”, then you’re in the right place. Over the course of the next week, over ten video games, and even some PC hardware will be given away to our loyal readers! And the only thing that you need to do is pay attention to our stuff, and you can be eligible for this stuff! Our grand prize has a retail value of USD$80! Sorry though, these prizes are limited to the U.S. and Canada, unless you’re willing to pay shipping and handling fees, which, chances are, will be cheaper than buying the product itself anyways.
Is that enough for you? I sure hope so, because the next week will be VERY busy. So don’t forget to subscribe to our RSS feed, or just have the page on automatic refresh over the course of the next week, because we’re bringing you the very best of everything E3, only here exclusively on the Weasel Report!
